For students, I wanted an application they could use to increase their coursework grades by writing reports that are correctly formatted and where each section of the report does what it is supposed to do. For researchers, I wanted software they could use to simplify the process of writing up their own research they submit to journals requiring APA format. For teachers and tutors, I wanted a teaching application they could use in class to teach students how to write good research reports and dissertations, as well as issues of research design and statistics. LabWriteUp is the outcome of these aims."
